The ancient Cimbrian language full of history and tradition.
Luserna is a small town at 1333 m of altitude, just a few kilometres away from Lavarone. It is the last linguistic minority characterised by the Cimbrian langiage (Cimbro in Italian) still spoken by its inhabitants. Luserna is located on the central-southern border of a large mountain pasture spreading in the areas of Folgaria, Lavarone and Passo di Vezzena, which directly drives to the city of Asiago.
One of the Luserna’s highlights is the Haus von Pruekk Museum and the Cimbrian museum entirely dedicated to the Cimbrian language and the village’s history.
In summer, Luserna is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday, thanks to its uniqueness and tradition. In winter, thanks to its strategical place, breath-taking views are a gift to visitors and ski lovers as it is very close to the Millegrobbe cross-country skiing center and Lavarone Ski Area.
